MarshallZehr has a talented team of real estate, construction and development, and financial experts. All of our team members bring a wealth experience, skills, and diverse backgrounds. We’re going to be highlighting some of these talented MZ’ers, what they do with us, and what makes them tick.
Today’s highlighted MZer is Reilly Moore – we sat down with him to get to know him a bit better:
When did you join MarshallZehr? What are you responsible for at MZ?
I joined MarshallZehr in February 2021 as Lead Software Developer.
My role is to ensure the software team successfully executes on the vision of our product managers and designers. We do this in part by working in an Agile framework that allows us to adapt and be as flexible as the MarshallZehr business model itself. I am also responsible for ensuring the software team follows industry best practices that allow us to maintain a high standard of code quality. Lastly, I am also a developer myself, helping to build the software helps power MarshallZehr.
What about our industry or MZ excites you?
I am excited to be working for a company that helps get housing built. Addressing the housing crisis is very important to me, and MarshallZehr has a role to play in it.
Tell us a bit about yourself away from work
Outside of work I have a large collection of small hobbies. My coffee addiction has grown into an excessive collection of coffee equipment including hand grinders and a lever espresso machine. I have an interest in urban planning, and am a supporter of all forms of active transportation. My windows have run out of space to house any more plants, but I hope to have space for an outdoor garden one day. I am a fan of books that challenge my worldview, as well as some good fiction.
