Crown Communities secures zoning bylaw amendment for Yonge and Mapleview development

Congratulations to our client, Crown Communities, on successfully receiving a zoning bylaw amendment for their Yonge and Mapleview development in Barrie, Ontario. The updated zoning is now in alignment with the mixed-use development Crown Communities has proposed for the neighbourhood. This marks a significant step in moving the project forward.

MarshallZehr provided a $12M land loan for the project in May 2022 to facilitate land acquisition and financing costs. The proposed mixed-use development will feature 1000+ units across 9.8 acres.
