Brenner Smith joins MarshallZehr

MarshallZehr is excited to be welcoming our newest team member Brenner Smith, joining us as Business Development Analyst.

Brenner brings over five years of experience from the insurance and asset management industry, having held various progressive roles within Sun Life (including SLGI Asset Management Inc. and BentallGreenOaks). Brenner graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University earning his Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance. Upon graduating, Brenner completed Sun Life’s Rotational Leadership Development Program – a 3-year program mandated to develop cross-functional business leaders with an overall focus on versatility, technical skill, and strategy.

As part of his role, Brenner will be support the screening of investment opportunities, evaluation and underwriting of potential transactions, coordinating and performing due diligence, as well as advising Senior Management on lending decisions.
